Smooth Side Foam SE30FL-ML

The SE30FL-ML foam is a flat acoustic foam made up of polyurethane (2,000x1,400 mm) and which is 30mm thick. Its black polyurethane film protects it from dampness, dust, oil emissions, which is a deciding factor in several situations.

A PVC heavy mass of 5 Kg/m2 is stuck between the foam and the adhesive in order to improve transmission performances.

The SE30FL-ML foam is a blue chip thanks to its absorption qualities on all frequency bands and to its high-performance heavy mass.

It is widely used in the phonic insulation field thanks to its open cell structure that allows it to trap sound waves.

Generally used when dust and dampness do not represent damage factors, it could be easily cut through a Stanley knife or blade and it is also easy to lay thanks to its adhesive side. It can be used in an efficient way to soundproof ventilation systems, electric motors, hydraulic machines, etc...

Remember that noise nuisance produced by a machine or an engine could be reduced by installing rubber suspensions, metal suspensions, des air suspensions or Grispsol dampening plates (for further information, please consult our antivibratory range).
